The National Standards Volunteer Involvement Tool

An easy-to-use online self-assessment tool to work towards meeting the new National Standards for Volunteer Involvement. The tool measures your organisation's performance with volunteer involvement and helps achieve best practice, ultimately improving the organisation's ability to attract and retain volunteers.

  • Assess your organisation’s performance against the Standards.
  • Identify actions required to achieve compliance with the Standards.
  • Automatically generated action plan for good practice.
  • Great workflow management tools — add staff/team members as users, assign them actions and set-up weekly action reminders.

This Project Partnership between The Centre for Volunteering and Breaking New Ground is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.

Please note:

This pilot Project Partnership is for the 2023-2024 financial year only (from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 30 2024). The Centre for Volunteering in partnership with BNG, through Departmental funding, is covering the cost of up to 250 NSW-based organisations to access this portal.  Access to the portal after this period is optional for each organisation and will incur a cost that The Centre for Volunteering does not cover.
